Description: Please join the Master Gardeners of Nevada County as we present the first of two free public workshops on Irrigation Systems. Designing and building an efficient, cultivated horticultural space may be a daunting task for those new to gardening. These one-hour workshops are designed to help home and property owners understand some of the steps involved in building an efficient irrigation system and discover improved new products.

Part 1 focuses on the water needs of the irrigation plan:

Determining your soil type and hydrozoning requirements
Concepts of water flow, water pressure, determining the length of hoses
